The Easton Area
Kiwanis Cup was held on Friday June 1st, 2007. It
was a beautifully warm sunny day at the Riverview
Country Club in Forks Township. This is the first golf
tournament fund raiser combining Easton, Forks and Suburban
Kiwanis Clubs. The first ever Kiwanis Cup was won by
Don Mengel's foursome. On the course there were 79
golfers and 18 Kiwanis volunteers associated with the
Easton, Forks and Suburban Kiwanis Clubs. Over 25
golfers qualified for the $10,000 Putting Contest but
unfortunately Scott Fisher missed the mark on the final 50'
putt. The event this year was chaired by Don Mengel of the
Easton Club.
