December 6, 2006 The Easton Kiwanis Club entertained about 130 special friends from the Intermediate Unit #20.  Attending were over 25 fellow Easton Kiwanians and guests.  "Mario" Walters saved the day by rushing back home for the Kiwanis bags, which he forgot.  Tough to do the party without the Kiwanis "sacks" to put the goodies in.  The assembly line got started late, but finished quickly since they knew how to do this from past experience.  They had to eat quickly to get the show on the road. And the show was Darlene on the keyboard, our own Illustrious Roger at the mike, Dapper Dan for the laughter BUT the guy-in-the-red-suit was the one they were all waiting for.  We do it for the expressions on the faces.  Kiwanians, serving the children of the world....starting right here in our own backyard.
